Patience, persistence and perspiration make an unbeatable combination for success. — Napoleon Hill
I haven’t met you, but I feel I already know three things about you:
- You need to make an extra money from home.
- You want to work and keep an eye with your kids at home.
- You want to have work freedom.
The internet has changed the world. Why not jump in to a computer-based work? I’ll show you how.
how to work at home as a virtual assistant startup, with no skill
Trust me I’ve been right where you are. You want to work at your own time for greater freedom and happiness.
On my previous article, I mentioned about mentoring. It’s good to have one for a start. And go your way.
Wouldn’t it be cool when you won’t worry for office paper works anymore? When the “8 to 5” grind won’t grudge you in because you are leaving it. When you figure it out that creativity and curiosity excel.
Find a niche
Find a niche is the usual response that I’ve picked up from other gurus. The idea will tangle you up when you are just starting out. Maybe finding a niche applies to X but not to Y. Finding a niche didn’t work for me not until I create.
When you create your own blog you’ll get to know more with WordPress. And oops! A self-hosted site is what I mean. As a startup you can sell WordPress skills for client’s website.
Here’s what you can do to get started:
1. Set up a blog
- choose a domain name
- choose a hosting provider
- choose a hosting plan
Your hosting provider provides complete tutorials on how to set up and install WordPress. Call the support team for concerns and issues.
2. Install WordPress
Remember with WordPress, you can create a website without having to code.
According to Wikipedia ,
WordPress is a free and open-source content management system (CMS) based on PHP and MySQL. WordPress is installed on a web server, which either is part of an Internet hosting service or is a network host itself; the first case may be on a service like WordPress.com
3. Navigate the WordPress Dashboard
On the process of creating a website, you’ll learn how to :
- set up hosting
- download WordPress
- install WordPress software
- add posts and pages
- add images
- add an image gallery
- create a static front page
- install plugins
- configure themes
- use widgets
- create custom menus
4. Offer a service called WordPress Website Management
You can offer your WordPress skill for clients. Just hit what you are capable of.
5. Market your skills
You can sign up to the following platform to find clients:
Social media community is a great avenue to find client as well. Social media like LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook for business/group page are great examples.
Upwork platform stands out on my end. You can, too! Read here [click the link]: Get started as a freelance virtual assistant to Upwork.
Is this easy? Answer is YES! But it’ll take a lot of work. Just don’t stop. I agree with this: patience, persistence and perspiration make an unbeatable combination for success.
Don’t forget to sign up and get the pdf VA beginner guide: go! 🙂
